Terms & Conditions

  1. All orders are only accepted on the understanding that the customer has read and understood these terms & conditions fully.
  2. These Terms & Conditions may change at any time.
  3. We only supply to Trade Customers.
  4. We do not supply platform-only businesses (e.g. Amazon-only businesses).
  5. All prices exclude VAT.
  6. All products are sold subject to availability.  Unavailable products will be credited/refunded.  
  7. Available quantities do not signify stock available for immediate dispatch.  These quantities include stock that will be back-ordered.  
  8. Available stock may be stock direct from the manufacturer.  If the ordered stock is not available in our warehouse, we will place the items on a back order and dispatch as soon as the stock arrives from the manufacturer.  For approximate back-order delivery times, see the Delivery Information page.  
  9. All proforma orders must be paid within 5 working days of receipt of proforma invoice. After this, unpaid orders will be cancelled. 
  10. Goods remain the property of Bertram Retail Ltd until paid for in full.
  11. The goods shall remain the property of Bertram Retail Ltd, but the risk therein and all liability to third parties shall pass to the purchaser upon delivery.
  12. Bertram Retail Ltd shall be entitled to recover goods if payment for the goods or any other debt due to the seller in respect of supplies of goods is overdue for payment.
  13. Unpaid accounts will be pursued through the courts.
  14. All prices are subject to VAT and are subject to change without notice.
  15. Claims for shortages and breakages/damages must be made in writing within three working days of receipt of goods. No claims will be authorised after this. 
  16. The customer will not be entitled to withhold payment of any monies due to Bertram Retail Ltd, in respect of any claims. These will be dealt with separately. 
  17. All images are for illustrative purposes only.  Packaging may vary as manufacturers change them and we do not accept returns for differing packaging.  
  18. All products and offers are subject to stock availability, even where products state in stock.  Any shortages or stock unavailable will be refunded/credited at the point of dispatch.  
  19. Prices shown are in UK Pound Sterling.
  20. RRPs shown are for guidance only. It is at the retailer’s discretion to set their own retail price and margin. 
  21. Bertram Retail Ltd will not accept cancellations of orders due to late fulfilment until a full working week after the estimated dispatch dates or back order times.
